    Default scrappy block quilt

The above quilt was posted a few days ago by DebraK, and I loved it, thanks for showing us your fabulous quilt. I wanted to make one in boy colors for the charity I sew for, and this is what I did. I much prefer Debra's diagonal set of the blocks, but I wanted to see how this worked before trying it on the diagonal.

Since I had lots of 2-1/2" strips cut, I made my blocks all at 6-1/2" unfinished.

It's good to work out the kinks first. Nice job!

I like the modern feel with all the neutral colors and the pop of a few brights.
