Scrappy Crib Size, String Quilt
#71
What a lovely baby quilt.
It is very bright, vibrant, and cheery.
The other day I cut oodles of diff. strips not sure what I was going to do with them, but you have inspired me to try this this weekend after homework is done.
Thanks.

I pieced it all on my vintage Singer 319W and FMQ it on my Janome 9000.
My blocks are the size of regular copy paper. No cutting involved. Yes, I start with the black and they're all the same width(the one constant in the quilt).

Love scrappy. Have made several, even a king size.
I never throw away my scraps. My quilting buddies laugh at me, but that's ok. I've made hundreds of "mug rugs" for family and friends. They make great hostess gifts.
You did a great job on yours. Love it. GiGi

Great minds think alike! I love scrappies and yours is fantastic. I'm making one that is similar to yours for my grandson using all scraps. I used muslin and not paper, but thats only because I didn't think of it. Good job.
