My Brother is a Owner/Op. he travels all 48 states. Some States have a idol law, so it get's very cold... He has a generator on his truck, sometimes it doesn't work. !! One day I was talking with him and he told me how cold he is soo, for his birthday I decided to make him a warm quilt.

This Quilt is all flannel, backing also.. and instead of batting I used a wool blanket that I washed to make sure it wouldn't shrink the quilt into a doll quilt.. ha ha it measures 86x96. Yesterday when I gave it to him, he loved it :) And he was very surprised.. I did a all over meander on my Long Arm that i love... and binded it with the backing flannel.

Thanks for looking !!

pic taken on my brothers deck, the sun was shinning so there is a white spot from the sun...

After driving a million miles as an o/o I can tell you that
he will appreciate the gift more than you know. You are a great sister to think of him and give him a gift of love:)

My DB is 6'4" tall, he has a hard time with his feet sticken out.. of the covers.. ha ha When he lifted it I teased him, of the extra weight he will be having in his truck.. ha he watches me quilt for customers, and he tells me how pretty they all are..and he has watched me make quilts..for others.. so it was time for him to get one.. :)
