Quilterscache is a great site for block patterns. I did a similar pattern, using a tulip block instead of hearts. To make the tulips stand out more, I did free motion on the background.

That is beautiful....as for quilting, I agree with most on this, stictch in ditch around heart then an echo, maybe try different color threads to match some of the patches????

wow, kimmers! I love when somebody posts a really pretty project that doesn't look too out of reach for me. You did a fantastic job on it.
I'd like to give this one a go sometime. Did you pick colors, or was block like this. I'm not always good with combining, but great at admiring and copying, lol! :D

It was pretty easy to put together but it was very time consuming. I loved the fact that I could just pick a patch and sew it on. I just tried to make sure that I didn't have the same color patches touching...but I am so happy with the way it turned out and so thankful for all of your comments. I just smile even bigger!!!
