Hunters Star
I have been catching up on my quilting!
Hunters Star pattern from Fat Quarter Shop, the method that she uses has some waste, but I am turning it into lots of HST’s which are always useful.
All Batiks from my stash including the background fabric. Backed with Minky in loden green and soft and bright batting. Quilted on my Innova using an edge to edge leaf panto with So Fine brown thread. I must say that I adore using Minky as a backing and I wish I had started using So Fine threads earlier, what a dream to work with!
Came out 72 x 90 and will be my winter throw for my couch. Now back to binding my next quilt, I have 2 more that I hope to get quilted next week. Thanks for looking!

The green leaves look wonderful, as does the Hunter Star top. Great job! I want to use Minky on Nora’s on point IF we can find a nice shade of purple. I think, for a throw, it wraps around you nicely.
