Thanks guys! :)

bebe, the pattern comes from a Fons and Porter book called American Country Scrap Quilts and they simply called it a "Six-pointed String Star". They should have called it "A Pain in the Neck, but Worth It"

The quilt blocks are lovely! Scrappy quilts are my favorite. I think I like your scrap basket even more! There are some really neat fabrics in there! I can just imagine the beautiful things you've created! If you need my address to send some scraps, just let me know!

How positively INSPIRATIONAL!

Wow!

You know, if we lived near each other, it would be fun to have a "scrap night" and everyone bring their scraps and swap and trade and try different things, brainstorm, etc.

It would be a really fun girls' night!

And to think guys like to sit in smoke filled rooms, drink, belch and cuss.

Thank you for the nice compliments ladies. I've actually given this entire scrap basket away. Twice. Just dumped it in a garbage bag and said buh- bye! LOL It was piling up everywhere. I've accumulated a lot of scraps over the last 16 years, that's for sure.

I love your idea of a girls' night scrap swap'n sew cordelia. Wouldn't that be fun? I'd even promise not to smoke, drink, belch or cuss. Well, I might have to cheat on the drink. A glass of wine with friends is always nice. :)

Thanks for you encouragement Pam. If I'd ever stick to any ONE thing for more than my typical 5 minute attention span, I'd get more done. *snicker*

Your scappy mess is becoming a beautiful quilt. Those scraps deserve to be loved in a beautiful quilt. Can't wait to see the final quilt. Great Job!
