Welcome to the Quilting Board!

I love them, I love and make scrapy Quilts. It seems that I end up with more material when I am done with a quilt than what I started with.
The strip twist is my favorite. so much energy! Karen
Love looking at all these quilts!
I've been wanting to make the 'strip twist' for quite some time. I saw it on Bonnie Hunter's site as well as the one similar to your 'donation quilt' ... I did do a top similar but still have not quilted it .. one of my flaws is that I love to make the tops and then jump to another quilt b4 finishing.
here is the one similar to yours .... My string X quilt top
yup it has been 18 months, and still not done ... yikes, altho I did add a scrappy border.
This 'thread' is already up to 183 pages, so I'm not sure I'll add any more scrappy quilt pix, but enjoying looking at them sooooo much!

The twist strip is so interesting. I can't figure out how it looks like the blocks are in rows. And with only scraps, it's pretty amazing. I love it.

Since this thread has been so quiet I thought I'd share a couple of my scrappies. These pics are of my latest string quilt, which was donated to a group home for youngsters who have aged out of foster care.
Very nice! I'm working on some right now ... clearing out a bin full of strips from a fabric designer's tag sale!
