Thanks Chris, I worried about piecing the back to be the exact same size of the quilt, but thought I almost had to. It worked out ok, I quilted all the oustside blocks to keep the edges even and then quilted the center block. I had forgotten that I had two block turned the wrong way in one of the quilts. I guess it is loved anyway.

i have thoroughly enjoyed the scrappy quilt show. it took me several days to go through 181 pages but it was well worth it. there are some truly talented quilters and some gorgeous quilts in this thread. thanks everyone for sharing. i have added several to my bucket list.

Here's my latest scrappy finish, a foundation-pieced string quilt for my husband's niece, who is facing surgery in a couple weeks. Her favorite color is green so I used a pastel green for the sashings and a green and white plaid for the back. I estimate that it used approximately 7.5 yards from stash. Of course the string bins don't look any less full ...
