    I was sorting out my smaller pieces of fabric and found a small piece I loved. It was not enough to do a whole quilt from, but I used it as color inspiration. I just kept pulling small bits that were in the purple violet green family and making flying geese from them. I used white on white for the "sky" and some lilac print and a pink from my stash. I love the way it turned out. I made a lot more flying geese than I needed so made the second quilt out of leftovers. Someday, I'll get them quilted.

    They are both lovely and the best thing is, they don't make me sneeze like the real lilacs do. The first quilt is very striking.

    Oh they are both beautiful! You did a great job with these. It is hard to believe they are scrap quilts they look so coordinated. Just gorgeous.
