Scrappy with a Stipple (Inspired by "ranger")!

I've never been much of a "scrappy" fan, but was inspired by ranger's post, This baby quilt....boy or girl? , and had to give it a go myself. I had fun experimenting with it, and also managed to FMQ a large stipple motif that I'm pretty happy with.

I know it sounds a bit crazy, but I find intricate feathers easier to FMQ than stippling. It seems my brain just doesn't want to do a stipple, but I'm working at it. I started quilting along with Leah Day's Wednesday FMQing and am picking up some good advice on how to approach stippling.

This quilt will go to our guild for donation to the pediatric ward at the local hospital.

Thanks ladies! This is the first time I haven't crashed and burned when trying to stipple.
