I made this table topper all from scraps, loads of scraps from making dresses for my daughter and myself when she was a little girl. There's even a scrap from her first day of school dress and the dress i wore when we brought her home from the hospital! I'm giving it to her for Easter. I hope she remembers some of the dresses.

It's a simple split ninepatch pattern, just 16 blocks. I put a funky Kaffe Fassett fabric on it as the border to make it a bit more modern looking.

And the backing is a bright dotty coffee cup fabric, for a happy change of pace. Two toppers in one!

That's so pretty! And such memories! I bet she'll think it's too pretty to use as a table topper and will want to hang it on the wall.
