Scrappy Twister Baby Quilt Finished
With the help and advise from some forum members I decided to put on the green polka dot border. It was just enough fabric, but I had to piece it for one side to get a long enough strip.
I like fleece as backing for baby quilts as it is soft and cuddly. This time, I used the leftovers from the last couple I did and pieced it together, so the back of the quilt is scrappy, too:
None of my previous fleece-backed baby quilts were quilted as heavily as this one (more like SID), and I have to say that although I love the look of the quilting, it was quite hard to hand quilt it with the fleece so the stitches are not as regular as I would like them to be.
