I have the same book. I got it for graduation in 1975.
My machine is a little different. It is a work horse.

Appears to be in great condition. The cabinet is lovely. Hope it runs as well as it looks and you'll have an excellent machine.

Beautiful machine, I also have an old Kenmore Ultra Stitch 6..It's my back up for when my Viking decides not to work. I got mind at a yardsale about 14 years ago for $30.

I have a 1947 Kenmore which was my primary machine until I got a 1947 Featherweight.

Recently I pulled a thread and dislodged the wire in the tension regulator, so it is not working at all. I used to haul it to class, and everyone loved to hear it purr.

Looks very similar to one I had. Gave it to DD. I really liked that machine.

Sewfine, I have a similar buttonholer on mine. I was going to post a picture, but I will do it later today after I clean off some of the gummy tape residue that is stuck on the bed. LOL Maybe we Kenmore owners can find a source for some parts. I have some attachments for various things that are in two parts, foot and fastener. Somehow I lost the fastener making the many feet useless! I went to Sears looking for help, but they don't keep vintage stock. Kitty

I can do a research when I get off this evening for a nice inexpensive place to buy parts.
