A year ago, a good friend of my DDIL died of cancer. My DDIL asked if I'd be willing to make a quilt from his shirts as a comfort to his wife and children who were left behind. There were enough shirts that I was able to make two twin sized quilts. This is the second one. Not sure if the photo will show it, but the background fabric is sparkly. There was also enough left of the other fabrics to make matching pillow cases.

These two quilts were some of the very first quilts to be completed with my 15" Bailey Home Quilter. I realize I have a way to go before I can begin to compete with some of the wonderful, artistic quilters on this board, but I am relatively pleased with how the quilting turned out.
