Default Small bowls made with clothesline and fabric

I am making these clothesline bowls for our Quilt show in May of 2013. Members of the quild were asked to make items to sell to help pay for putting on the show. They are so much fun to make.

I really want to make one of these but I cannot find COTTON clothesline. I have been to 3 stores and they all only have a poly blend. Where are you guys finding your cotton rope?

You would think in a hardware store would be the place to find clothes line.

Where can I find directions for this project? We have a craft bazaar coming up in November and this looks like a good seller to me.
