Default Second S&W UFO ready for quilting

Sharing:
Started this Stack & Whack full size quilt over 10 years ago and finally finished it.
Pics show base fabric, quilt and close up of blocks.

​I love the effects of Stack & Whack and One Block Wonders! Great quilt top and on to the quilting!

Thank you. Notice I mirror imaged some of the diamond cuts on various blocks for example on 2nd close up pic of the individual block. I did that by using the reverse side of the fabric on every other diamond.

I reversed (used wrong side of the fabric)every other diamond.

On other blocks I switched 4 repeat cuts from other sets.
Example...see far right block on 2nd row of the quilt.

I too am in awe of the kaleidoscope effect and discovered u get a greater variety by switching repeat cuts from different sets and/or mirror imaging some of the center diamonds.

On this block I changed the direction of every other diamond.
