Why do I always do this?? Why do I always choose to do things that are never simple??

There are 28 of these pieces to do all around the edge, THEN large black wedges to fill in between the pointed blocks, THEN a scalloped fabric pattern all around that has the corners mitered and matching the pattern.

It is definately being sent out to hand quilt. I am Soooo done with it.

you keep right on challenging yourself, pam. if this quilt is any indication, you are bound for a lifetime of spectacular works. :P

Yes, it is a Beyer design. I was looking at her website the other day and they still have it but now the pieces are all pre-cut. I got this when it was just yardage. That's ok though since I am using the leftovers to make another star quilt.

But Pam, it's going to be gorgeous, and worth all the work! Those colors are luscious! And everyone else here is right--it's good that you continue to challenge yourself. That's why your work is so wonderful!

Oh, that is just beautiful. You may be sick of it now, but when you sit back and look at it you won't be able to miss how awesome it really is.
