Default Selvage quilt

From Karen Griska's book, my take on the Silk Cigar Ribbon quilt. Just the flimsy but couldn't wait any longer to share . Sorry for the bad pics I'll take better ones after it's quilted. I cannot thank enough all the board members who have sent me selvages to help fuel my creative juices.

Great quilt so far, love the beadwork, too! How kind of those who sent their selvage edges. I never cut mine off before I trim from a strip when I sew, because having the edges left on helps me quickly determine where the straight grain of the fabric is.

Holy cow, that's awesome! I can't even imagine how to start a quilt like that.

Wow, what a quilt. It should win a prize in some contest.
