Love it! Great idea. I saw a quilt at a show a while back that I think was similar in the respect that it seemed to be strips rather than blocks. It looked totally different of course...yours is REALLY neat :-)

This is really nice and gives me an idea of what to do with the Basic Seminole Patchwork quilt book I have by Cheryl Greider Bradkin, from 1990. It has 56 different patterns, all in strips. Thanks for sharing this!

this is beautiful! i bought a book about seminole piecing years ago but never found the time to sit down & learn the technique between our frequent job moves. this makes me want to get the book out & maybe this could be my winter project now that holiday rush & sewing done. playing on internet search recently re: the seminole peoples history, i stumbled on several quilt sites w examples & ideas. your post seems to be just one more incentive for me. thank you for sharing this!
