Default Service Flag

As you know my son just recently joined the military and he is in basic training. One of the the things that was done during the war was to display a service flag. They are still approved for use today. So I made my own service flag.

Please tell your son I appreciate his service for our country. My son just retired the first of August after 20 years in the Air Force. I also made a service banner and kept it up until he retired. God Bless your son and your family, I will keep your family in our paryers. And your banner is beautiful.

Thank you and your son for his service. We were just presented with one from our local American Legion Post. My son is National Guard and as a Guardsman, you can only display the service flag if their unit is being activated. My son will be deployed late December/early January for 9 months. Pre-deployment training started today.
I'm a Momma with many mixed feelings.
