I made this after seeing a posing of the birdhouse one. I think I will make more but take more time this was practice. I bought two boxes for $1.00 at the Dollar Tree store and cut the larger one open on the corners, Made a template for the second box using Tablet back cardboard, The center box is from a trinket my son gave me. I covered it all with fabric using Hot glue, Spry adhesive would be better. Added batting to the center box and wa la a cool notions box for the cost of about $1.50 including the fat quarter used to cover it.

:D Cool! Your very clever to have figured that out on your own. It is kind of fussy to do. At least it was for me. Even with the instructions sitting right in front of me. LOL!

I have always wanted to make one of those pin cushion chairs that looks like a queen ann. I might take your clue and try to figure it out on my own.

Good job, I was trying to figure that one out myself.

Red Garnet for the queen ann chair, just take a can like a tuna can and leave some of it un opened. Bend it back and cover it and stuff the can with fiberfil before covering it. I bought one many years ago and that's how it was made. I don't have it anymore.

It really wasn't hard I learned some things along the way that will make the next one much better and make the fabric smoother. I never was good at following directions I do better figuring it out on my own.
