Which way would the stripe look best for the border? Border would be about 2 1/2 inches wide. The conventional choice would be long vertical stripes, but I kinda like the look of the short horizontal stripes. Can't make up my mind. What do you think?

Your right S. H. S. are better. Vert. ones run your eye off the quilt. By the way ,I like it :thumbup:
