I brought my friend back her Lone Star quilt today. Her reaction was, "I would like you to have it"! I was speechless! She is now 78 years old and I have done quite a bit of quilting for her in the last 7 years. Most of it "free", just because I admire her and her desire to keep going, even with arthritis and the trials and tribulations of the age. She even has another friend come once a week and cut fabric for her. I have the perfect place to display this quilt after it comes back from the fair.

What an awesome gift you gave your friend just by quilting for her over the years. Now she has rewarded you for a job well done. Enjoy and remember this dear lady every time you touch this beauty. You are indeed blessed.

What a sweet friend. Please let us know if you win ribbons at the fair. Please put a label on back too and tell the 7 yr. story! What a gorgeous quilt!
