More practice with half square triangles! I saw this on Friday's episode of "Simply Quilts." I cut the strips an inch less than they should have been, so I had to adjust things... Next time, I'll pay better attention!

Chele,
I'm very impressed. That's something I've looked at and been afraid to do. Your colors are wonderful as always! We really must go shopping together someday!!! I'll buy everything you buy!

You go, girl!

Nice job! Are you going to add more borders to it, or is it a table topper?

I love how you just whip something together once you have seen it. No stalling.

Thanks everyone! Mine turned out 26" x 26", but if you cut the strips the right size, it finishes out to 40" x 40"!

I think I'll use this to practice machine quilting. Then it can be a wallhanging or table topper. Or, I could add some more borders! :?

Chele--on the directions--under "sorting squares and making combinations" it pairs up same pieces together. It reads "two of each of the following: 3 + 3, 4 + 4...."

How can that be?

Help me.

That kind of confused me too! But, yes, you piece those together as well! I guess to get the whole diamond effect. You could use a single square, but I really stink at figuring out measurements like that! LOL!
