Default Cone thread holder

This is how I use my cone thread on my treadle. I thought others might find it interesting. I used an empty cone and drilled 2 corresponding holes through it to fit on the upright spool holder. I put a stick on Velcro circle on the inner cone and push the full cone onto it tightly. It works great and the thread feeds off it nicely.

Am glad you posted that idea ... was going to reroll everything on a smaller spool by hand and hope for the best! ; )

Clever of you. Is it less expensive to purchase cone's rather than spools? It seems like I am really going through spools. Thanks for sharing. BrendaK
