For a Silent auction
I just finished this on time! The auction is the seventeenth of this month. In all fairness though, I just found out from hubby I was to make it. LOL! Men, they think we are wonder women. I hope it brings a fair amount of money for the parents of a deathly sick little boy in the hospital. I call it "Paint it Black" like the song. But, I won't tell them that.

Hubby asked for an Art quilt. I just didn't know what else to do but to use the batik fabrics in this quilt. I am not a art quilt maker.
I had the black 80/20 batting on hand and ordered the black and dark grey backing at amazon so it would be on the fast track to me. The weavings are quilted with a variegated thread and of course the black with a black. I was happy with it and that is saying something. I am my worst critic. It is quilted so it could be hung or used. Pretty heavily.
