Found this while looking for something else. Someone must know where the pattern is or you can make one up. Box has cardboard inserted in the sides. Fabric is 10" plus seams, ribbon is 6 1/2".

Make this

I saw it at one of the sites (Good House Keeping or Clotilde ) and in one of the quilting craft magazines and one of them used the plastic canvas inserts. So pretty. I don't do bindings worth a thing so I haven't tried it.

I have one of these - bought it at a craft show. It does not have any binding on it. Just sewn all around with the ribbons/ties sticking out - then turned inside out and machine sewn closed. Looks easy enough to make.

I think we can run with this! I hadn't thought of it as a cassserole holder but that's a good idea.
