Default Simple wood TV tray into Ironboard

I made this a while ago...but did not put a cover on it originally and wore a hole in the ironing material...So this morning I ripped it apart....and recovered it with new ironing material....and made a cover for it...hopefully it will not wear out to quick....the cover is a little small so the next time I make one I will make it a little bigger....

Super idea. Now I know what to do with the one I have sitting in the closet...that never gets used.

That's a nifty idea. We have a set of tv trays that we will be replacing this summer when we move for darker ones to match other furniture so I can make some of those for me and my sewing family. Thanks for sharing.

I think that is the cutest ironing board I have ever seen! You did a great job on the cover, it looks great!

Great idea. I made one on top of a plastic 3 drawer storage unit. Of course, I put a board on top, that ironing board padding and fabric. It was slipping so i place a plastic drawer lining underneat the board. And there it is, right beside my sewing machine, taking up very little space.

our little quilting group has made them too...in fact I have 1 that a small cutting mat fits on perfectly and have that on the other side of my machine. I really dont need to get up and down while sewing !!

I have one also, exact same tv table as yours. It is the handiest thing in my sewing room. Some extra fabric and a staple gun and you have it made!!!
