Has anyone used this electric rotary cutter for fabric? I saw one at Wal-Mart yesterday for $50.00 and wondered if it was worth getting. It cuts strips up to 2 3/4 inches.

I have seen it used, don't have one. I had a friend who bought one for way more than $50 and she took it back because it was too much trouble.

Personally, I think the June Tailor Shape Cut Rulers would be a better value. I have heard people say the electric cutter is too hard to use and hard to get a good straight strip. I don't know anything about them though. I love my June Tailor mats.

I really regret buying mine, wasted $90 as far as I am concerned. I can cut better and faster with a rotary cutter and 6x24 ruler

I asked this question a week or so ago and it never made it into topics, but I got alot of responses and they were all negative. Everyone said you couldn't keep the fabric straight as it cut. My last response was that they had saved me 2 trips to walmart...one to buy it and one to return it. glenda
