I have this little machine that I just brought down from the attic. Is the crank usually on the other side? I also have the manual.

OMG this is really old and valuable in this pristine condition. Contact Lostn51, he can tell you all about this one. You are so very lucky. Crank is on right side of machine

What a cute little machine. I don't know about the crank.

I think the photo is simply of the backside of the machine. Can tell by the presser foot and presser foot lever.

I agree that this is likely to be very valuable because of its pristine condition. Be sure you understand how to keep it this way! My mil gave me an old child's sewing machine that she had wrapped in plastic "to keep it in good condition". The moisure trapped by the plastic rusted it to the point where it has no commercial value anymore.

I am planning to keep it in a glass fronted cabinet in my sewing room.

I'm drooling! I've wanted one of these for a long time. A friend has one from her grandma and I think they're so nice. You are a lucky gal!
