Default Singing River Stars

The older BH&G book where I saw this quilt refers to the block as Saint Charles Star, although I haven't found that anywhere else. In recognition of the name early Native Americans gave the Tennessee River, which is nine miles from my home, I call my quilt Singing River Stars.

I pieced this top in 2008. The blue and cream fabrics are Moda Bella solids. Quilted on my Babylock Tiara, using HQ circle templates.

Stunning quilt! i've never seen Baptist Fan quilted in two directions to meet in the middle. Well done!
