My Sis in law didn't like this quilt after all because it didn't have a tent or camping stuff. It is about fishing, since they never fished, I guess it was a bad choice on my part, thought it was outdoorsy since you usually fish outside.
I'm giving it to my Oldest Grandson, serving our country in Iraq, his Mom will keep it until he comes home. He loves fishing and he loves quilts from Gramma.

I think that it's very nice and like you, I think that it is outdoorsy. I used to fish and camp but no only fish since I am on oxygen but I think that it's a lovely quilt! I'm sure your grandson will love it.

It's wonderful. I can see you put a lot of work into it. Your grandson is a lucky man to have your quilt.

Sounds like the quilt found a more deserving new owner that will appreciate it. Very nice quilt with all the flying geese and very masculine.

My MIL and FIL would be in pig heaven to receive this quilt! They camp and fish a lot.
You did a wonderful job!

I am glad that you found someone to appreciate all the hard work and thought that went into that quilt! I have a SIL that is like that. She lives 2000 miles from me, so when I send her something I have no idea who she regifts it to. I am sure Rich will treasure it.
