This is a quilt I made for my sister who lives in Texas. For the past 8 weeks she has been in the hospital. She is suppose to have her gall bladder removed & also a cyst on pancreas as well. Need to say she is still waiting for the doctors to set a date. They want to wait for the cyst to "crystalize" (the word they used) so that they can make sure that they get all of the cyst. Made this for her, as she sends me on occasion Maxine cards, so I thought I would return the favor with a "Maxine" quilt.

I have Maxine on one of my sleep shirts...
It says, "If I'm a nappin' Don't come a yappin'"

Cute quilt!

This is adorable. I'm sure it will bring some much needed joy at a difficult time for her. How lucky she is to have you. My best wishes for her speedy recovery.

I love Maxine. I got a wall hanging of her from my SIL. Where did you find these pictures of her? Are they all fussy cut from fabric -?
