Default Skate boards

This quilt comes from Pennsylvania. Grandma made this for her Grandson who is a skateboarder. She left the lay out up to us, so a wavy crosshatching border with a skate boarding panto.

She asked for an ivory thread with a poly batting, and wishes to bind the quilt herself. Hope you enjoy the pictures and they give you some ideas.

That is so cute. When my son was a teenager he was a skate boarder, and he would have loved that quilt.

Do you know if this pattern came from Missouri Star? I am in the process of doing one from a pattern I think I cut from a Fons and Porter magazine. So much fun!!

It is on my list to make. She did a great job with her choice of fabric.
