Thank you for all the suggestions. I have completed the top and now off to the long arm quilter. Whomever suggested to add a green stripe was helpful. Please see what I did. My husband voted for the white and I added the green, purple, teal borders.

Not perfect but made with love.

(ps. I corrected the blocks that were wrong! Thanks for finding them!)

It is BEAUTIFUL! I'm glad you went with the white background, as I thought the white looked better. Your border colors look so good. The couple is going to absolutely love your beautiful gift!
