This will be a quilt for a friend of mine. She has breast cancer, 10 yo triplets, and an ex-husband. 'Nuf said.

That looks great! How are you getting that inprint look to it? I haven't seen that before.

Looks beautiful. You have a lot of quilting in that one!!! Is that Trapunto? or just looks like it because of all the quilting stitches?

That is gorgeous! How are you doing the imprint - something new. Looks great and I'm sure your friend will love it to help her in this trying time.

It's faux trapunto, with a pebble background. I have two layers of wool batting under each of these blocks, the rest of the quilt has just the one main layer. Each block takes about an hour to quilt. The pebbles are little circles of stitching, most are about 1/4" across, some smaller, some larger. I have a total of 17 blocks to quilt, I have 5 done. I'm working on two quilts at once, trading it back and forth on the longarm with another quilt. The other is the library raffle quilt (pictures on my blog).

I love it!! I have never seen the faux trapunto (spelling) before. It looks really neat and sounds very time consuming!
