I am overwhelmed with joy that I lack very little to finish this quilt for my granddaughter's 9th birthday (in 3 more days)! Long story short, her father, my son died in 2009, he was born on Valentine's Day.
I collected heart fabric and was given heart fabric by some members on the board. For that I am so very grateful and immensely blessed.
I think the name of the quilt speaks for itself. I included the penguins because it was her first Spanish word her daddy taught her. I think I could make a million quilts but this one will always stand out because of it's meaning.
Those of you on the board who sent me heart fabric, thank you so very much!
(After posting, I noticed the pictures didn't turn out very well, I will re-take and re-post when I've completed it.)
