    Though I don't live where snow falls, this pattern reminded me of my childhood. We would build snow forts and make snowballs all day in the winter. I enjoyed making this, even with the 1 inch squares. The finished quilt is 12 inches square and hangs in my sewing room.

    Build forts in the street and throw snowballs at the wooden trolley cars. I guess we never hit anyone because the conducters were so nice.
