We have a small group of quilters (4) that would like to make the crayon quilt. It is absolutely gorgeous. Is is a retail pattern or did you design it? If it can be purchased please give me the details.
Thanks, Karnesue (Karen)

I keep coming back and having a look at this pattern.

Set me straight is this really white fabric crayoned with wax crayons and if so can you wash it. Sorry for the thick question.

I found this pattern on Sew Be it website. It's called Full Bloom (#1205), $8.00 for the pattern and $5.00 for shipping. It is in Billings Montana and they do not accept credit cards. checks only! There are plenty of on line instructions for this technique, just google it, I have been using coloring books of flowers for my inspiration. (off the net) Will try to post a pic of the sample I made the other night. but it's in the other computer and I am not a genius at computer-ing. OH as for washing. Have you ever TRIED to remove crayon from clothing. NOT an easy task so I would imagine the would be machine washable. Any color fabric (I used muslin for my "tester" and box of cheap old $$ store crayons. (I have NO vested interest in this patter nor the website. Just passing on information... )

I know this is an old post, but, this quilt is beautiful. What a nice display of different techniques in one quilt.
