I'm following this awesome blog/giant BOM tutorial that I'm sure many of you have seen by now: http://civilwarquilts.blogspot.com/ This is mine so far....I'm just using scraps plus a few fat quarters here and there....I'm loving it so far! It has some simple blocks as well as some more challenging ones :) Should I do sashing or not?

I think I'd wait till I had all the blocks done before dediding on a sashing. What you have done looks great, cant wait to see it finished!

Wow, great start! I think would use a narrow sashing.

I love scrappy, and I think sashing always helps highlights the individual blocks...

I am a CW junkie when it comes to the fabrics..you have NO idea...

I am so impressed with your blocks - they look perfect with or without sashing. Thanks for sharing pics of your blocks and the website, I did not know about that.

Those look great! I've been following that site as well but haven't started on the blocks. I do have them all saved on my computer. Can't wait to start. Need to get one more UFO done though!
