Some have ask how I have so many scraps to make my color selections from. I belong to an Arkansas ministry that makes caps for women and children who have lost their hair due to medical reasons (cancer treatment etc). As to date, some where around 40,000 have been made and shipped all over our country to hospital, cancer centers and individuals and are given free of charge and with love and prayers. (Please see Care Caps Connections, Inc. on the internet). The young woman in the picture is my niece who works at the Cinn., OH children’s cancer center and the pictures were taken when the center received their first shipment of caps. Anyway, those who work in this ministry can have as many scraps as they want and the love keeps flowing!
