So Sad, So Happy
#1
I just finished up my last few quilts on my quilting machine. I have to pack it up tomorrow morning to ship back to the states to my friend. I have done over 115 quilts on this machine and will be sad to see it go. We are moving part of our household goods back stateside because we sold our house here in Hong Kong. The apartment we move into will not be as big, but I will have my sewing room. Luckily when I get back from the summer in the states, I get to put up my new HQ Fusion. I only have a small piece of batting left from 2-25 yd rolls, at least I don't need to pack that up!

What a beauty your quilt is for your friend! What pattern is it? Don't think I've seen it before. Totally love it.
Where about are you moving to? I know it must be difficult to part with your machine but think of it as a new adventure and a new machine friend. I'm sure whoever gets the one you are parting with will enjoy it every bit as much as you did. Don't feel sad -- be happy for all the quilts it's given you and will give the new owner.

What lovely colorful quilts! You do beautiful work. So sorry you have to pack up your machine. Sounds like you can use this time for some hand quilting, especially if you'll be traveling. Good luck with your move, stay safe as you travel.
