These eyes don't see anything ugly. To me this quilt says wrap yourself in me. If you don't like it finish it and donate to an aged care home. I'm sure someone there would love it. BTW I love the blue color.

Its by far not ugly!! If you really are that disappointed use fleece on the back instead of batting and a backing. than donate it to a hospital or a womans shelter

Not in the least bit ugly. Scrappies are awesome.

Stand back from it. If it's a baby quilt, could you applique cars, birds or other things a baby would like? Or could you use this as a lap quilt? It will be beautiful when you finish with this one. Some quilts are more challenging than others. This one has a very antique look to it. Do a black or white border in applique of flowers and leaves.
Then quilt the center squares in a rose pattern. Marla

I'd like to cuddle up with it and read a book! It looks snugly to me!

Hmmm maybe not the cutest but not ugly either. I think it would make a well loved utility quilt. You know to take along to the beach, camping, in the car or to the hospital. Put some inexpensive comfy polly batting in it and maybe flannel on the back.
