The star is done except for binding. I decided on a heart loopy design and is is wonderful. I also stuck a BUMBLEBEE On the back top ..when my friends asked me to do this quilt ( yellow and black) all i could think of was it would look like a bumble bee....of course it doesn't but it is now an inside joke and since I had a bumblebee I had to do it ;) . They are from Az and coincidently arriving tonight for the weekend so i plan to have the binding done and this on their bed when they arrive ;)

beautiful. And the bubmle bee is a cute isea. It will always be something to use as a thought between you and them. When you correspond, or talk, you can include any news pertaining to bees and get a chuckle and warm feeling.

Exactly ;)>> they will love that bit of humor in there.. since I NEVER did tell them what I thought about the yellow and black idea... but will do over a glass of wine tonight;)

Absolutely stunning! Maybe you could sign all your future quilts with a bumblebee - like Mouseman the woodwork guy who always carves a little mouse into his stuff. :-D
