These are my latest projects. Quilts for injured UK soldiers, My two sons are career soldiers both done 22yrs! I am one of the lucky ones as both mine returned from Iraq/Af.ghanistan in one piece. I love piecing but prefer to have them Longarm quilted. these are the first to complete, there are two with the quilter, I have one top complete and another being put togetherThey are made from recycled mens shirts and I have enjoyed seeing how many different designs I can do with the same fabrics. So far I am thrilled with the results. Hilary

My number 1 nephew just left Sandhurst and is off to Afghanistan next year.

I would love to make a quilt for an injured soldier - can you tell me, please - is there an organisation in UK that is coordinating this - or can you put me in touch with some one so I can make at least one?

Thanks so much - your quilts are beautiful and for a very very special cause
