These are really nice! I especially like the star one. I have a healthy fear of those! LOL! I sure like them when other people make them, though.

Did you hand quilt the wreaths in the star one?

Wow.... you have a great eye for colour and form. Your work is stunning.

I'm impressed by the star too, it's on my list of things to try when I'm a bit more confident.

The star was pieced and quilted by hand because I could not figure out how to get those diamond together by machine in the early 90's. Yellow and blue quilt is a Australian Bush quilt. Terri saw a picture and she liked it so much and threatened to take my blue fabric, so I searched for a pattern could not find one so just took the picture and started cutting. Terri is the owner of that one. She made me one with white and the blue with pot holder to boot.

Thanks so much for letting me share some of my work. This group is the best. Keep on quilting.

HEY! THAT'S MY QUILT UP THERE!!!!
And yes...I threatened to take her fabric!! It sat around for WAAAY too long that she needed to do something with it.
That year (Christmas) was when I got it. I also made one for her and 2 of our other neighbors. Machel thought she wasn't getting one. She said she'd take a potholder made out of the blue and white I had. Sooo...with everyone at my house, I handed out the quilts. Then I gave Machel her potholder, ALONG with the matching quilt. And of course....I DO NOT have a picture of it. :(

Hey! I just noticed MY HANNAH at the top of the quilt!!!!
