This was a very random pattern out of a book called "Fat Quarter Magic". I scored a bunch of fat quarters from a quilt store, so picked this pattern to put them all together. When it was done, I was hunting through my stash for something to back it with and came across a lime green faux fur throw that just went perfectly with the fabric. It was a bit of an experiment, but I'm really pleased with how it went, it's a lovely soft and warm quilt. The kids love the feel of it, they fight over it all the time. Until the new kitten decided to claim it as her own!

This is the whole quilt on my dining room table. It's a lap size quilt.

Hmmmmm.... the colours don't look very accurate. The backing is very lime green, and the front fabrics are brighter too. But you get the idea.

    :-)

Here's a close up of the fabric... it was a whole range all with the common gold thread/wiggly stripe thing through it.

Oh, and vanity insists I tell you the quilt actually lies flat, but has been screwed up on the couch under the kitten, so is quite wrinkled and just a little grubby! :-)

LOL!!! Your kitten looks just like mine, a siamese, who loves to cuddle up on anything soft or cozy, like that quilt!

I really love your quilt too :)

    Another Siamese owner! :-)

We have a 1 year old boy called Edmond, he's a seal point. And the kitten's name is Jing (Thai for Cricket) and she's 3 months old. She's a tortie sealpoint.

    They're awesome cats.
