This old lady has been in the attic for many years. I got her down today and gave her a spin and she works fine. Born in 1908 in Clydesbank, Scotland. She has the original manual and attachments. Tried the ruffler and the tuck marker and once I had worked out how to use them, both performed well. I love the needle threader with its tiny spare hooks.

The rubber on the bobbin winder is perished though. Does anyone know where I might find a replacement?

Thanks.

We are leaving tomorrow for a trip to Abruzzo, Molise and Lazio, parts of Italy that I have never visited. I will look on the map and see if we are going near Santa Maria.

Are there sewing machine shops near where you live?
They may sell one to you or you can buy them online?

Not a whole lot going on where my parents are from.
It is Santa Maria, Del Molise, province of Isernia.

Have fun on your trip!!
