Here are my pictures again with and without sashings. I'm not too comfortable with either of them. I might cut out some white sguares and place them alternately with the coloured blocks and see how it goes. What do you think? Thanks so much for your comments. I have no black material or I might try that as some of you have suggested. TQ.

IMO, it needs color for the sashes. Maybe a stripe? That's way out, don't know your comfort zone!!

I like it better without, but it's strictly your choice. There is no right or wrong.

although, i like the first pic without any sashing - but i'm not a sashing type of girl any way.

I understand your dilemma...I am doing a random scrappy and together they didn't look right so I am sashing them in red. That being said, I think yours will look great "unsashed" (not sure that's a word!). Then maybe a thick white border and then a thin border of individual squares going round, then another white border and bind in red or scrappy.

Whatever you choose it will be really pretty, you have some lovely fabrics there. Ultimately I think YOU have to feel comfortable with the design. Whatever you decide I think it will look great...so keep updating us...you know how we love pictures.
