Welcome to the Quilting Board!
Joy it is a lovely quilt so glad you didn't trash it. I really like the empty baskets they add interest to the quilt. Love it
Sweet Dreams come from under Cozy Quilts made with love.
Life is short, take time to enjoy it. Play with your kids and g-kids,
and do what you can for others.
It is so pretty. I can see such a long project that you felt like quitting. I am glad you didn't. Next time, maybe a wallhanging first to see if you like doing it.
Your quilt turned out very pretty. I agree that the empty baskets add interest. I, too, am learning to applique. I have a small project going. If I don't want to be done in a hurry I can deal.
I think it's beautiful!
I also think it's beautiful! And certainly not boring to look at. Glad you finished it.
You may have gotten tired of it but the eventual results are beautiful and you deserve a big pat on the back for completing it. Put it away for a few months and then get it out---I will look better to you, I guarantee it!
Join me in fighting Alzheimer's Disease-http://www.alzquilts.org/. Make 9" x 12" mini quilts that are sold. These are sold on-line and at the Houston Quilt Show. One hundred percent of the proceeds go for research to fight this dread disease. I lost my Dad to it and my mother-in-law has it as well. Something has to be done--we can sew for a cure!
